1.2. User Content (CV & Job Data)

To provide our core service, we process:

The Resume/CV documents you upload (PDF/Text).
The personal details contained within your CV (Education, Experience, Contact Info).
The Job Description text or URLs you provide.

1.3. Usage & Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous data about how you interact with the App (e.g., feature usage, crash reports) to improve user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information & AI Processing

2.1. AI Service Providers (Model Agnostic Approach)

We use third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) services to analyze and optimize your CV. These providers may include, but are not limited to, Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), DeepSeek, or other future AI technologies.

Data Processing: Your text data is sent to these providers solely for the purpose of generating the optimized content.
No Training: We utilize APIs where providers generally do not use your data to train their models (subject to their respective API policies).

2.2. Service Delivery

We use your data to generate keyword-optimized resume suggestions and comparison reports.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

AI Service Providers: As described above, for content generation.
Cloud Infrastructure: Google Firebase (for authentication, database, and backend logic).
Analytics Providers: Google Analytics for Firebase.
Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Retention: We store your optimized results history linked to your account.
Deletion: You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time via the "Delete Account" button in the App Settings. This action is irreversible.

5. NO GUARANTEE & DISCLAIMER

5.1. No Job Guarantee

ResuMate is an AI-powered tool designed to assist in resume formatting and keyword optimization. We do not guarantee that using this App will result in job interviews, job offers, or passing specific Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). The job market involves numerous factors beyond our control.

5.2. AI Accuracy

Artificial Intelligence can occasionally produce incorrect or biased information ("hallucinations"). You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of the generated content before submitting it to any employer. We are not liable for any errors in the optimized CVs.

6. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under age 13, please contact us.
